Munday's Meadow



Discover your own private meadow set in the heart of the Cotswolds – great for getting the gang together in this totally private location in the middle of the Countryside.

Six fun furnished spacious Lotus Belle tents Bluebell, Daisy, Foxglove, Clover, Blossom and Sky. This group site is situated in an ancient wildflower meadow, surrounded by fields and woodland, full of wildlife, flora and fauna, streams and places to explore.

The tents come complete with fairy lights, lanterns, handmade cushions, and a grass like carpet, following the wildflower theme that gives the tents their names.

Whether you are coming on a family holiday, reunion with friends or hen party, the site can be adapted to suit your needs. All bedding and towels provided on comfy futon style beds.

You can all get together on a large wooden deck with outdoor sofas and an outdoor fire-pit and large gas BBQ .

Or cosy-up in the Hobbit Hut which comes complete with an indoor BBQ and reindeer rugs to spruce up the wooden benches.

There is a large covered dining barn with hand made wooden table and benches for seating for up to 18 guests. Fully equipped with a double gas hob ring and solar lighting. Great for festive feasts and gatherings. All pots and pans and kitchen essentials provided. Cold mains water.

A mowed games pitch has been set up for your entertainment – rounders, cricket, boules or a simple game of football can keep the amusement going.

The meadow leads into the woods where you can explore the wildlife with streamside walks, complete with wild honesuckle dripping from the trees, as well as butterflies and bees.

Sit under the stars in the wood fired hot tub. (Logs for two sittings and water provided for each sitting) Maximum of 8 guests per sitting. Instructions on how to use will be provided for your stay.

A two minute walk will take you to the shower shed and the kitchenette area. There are two large fridges as well as hot and cold water, a washing up area and dishwasher. Electric sockets are available for your use.

There are lots of activities to do on site as well as beautiful private walks including a 60 acre large wood with paths to explore, wildlife to encounter, streams, tyre swings and more. Lots of wildflowers and long avenue of trees.

If you feel like exploring the area there are many walking and cycling trails offsite to great pubs and restaurants.

Local attractions include The Daylesford Farm Shop, The Wild Rabbit, The Fox Inn.
Chastleton (National Trust), The Burford Wildlife Park, The Cotswold Farm Park, The Batsford Falconry centre and Arboretum and much more.
