Shepherd's hut sleeps 2 (1 double)
The shepherd's hut Posey is located a short walk from Lima, a traditional shepherd's hut decorated with a whimsical vintage old rose feel, deep in the woods in its own secluded space. Inside snuggly sheepskin rugs and a wood burning stove lend it a cosy, easy going comfort. Surrounded by bluebells in the Spring and swathes of ferns throughout the summer months. This ancient woodland also provides a canopy of trees with birdsong and owls hooting during the night and other delights. Fairy lights, outdoor solar lighting and lanterns add to the magical setting. Nature surrounds you in this very special and unique setting with everything you need for a comfortable, well equipped stay. The luxuriously hot safari shower under an oak tree is another delight, a short stroll through the woods. The floral theme of the décor inside echoes the woodland and the camp kitchen means that mealtimes evoke a sort of bygone Enid Blyton sense of adventure.
Each Hut has its own camp kitchen with mains water, coolbox, double gas hob ring and BBQ. There’s also a fire pit with a tripod cooking pot if you feel like showing off your more advanced cooking skills. A short stroll through the wood takes you to Lima's composting loo, next to a shared outdoor safari shower - hot. Next to the shed with washing up facilities.
