The Barn is a period Cotswold Stone detached property which has been converted in a contemporary, uncluttered style. It lies next to the adjacent farmhouse in a quiet rural location at the end of a 1 mile shared farm track between Stow-on-the-Wold and Moreton-in-Marsh. It has two double bedrooms and two ensuite bathrooms with a staircase at each end and lovely spacious living space downstairs is available to rent for weddings and/or separately as a stand alone holiday destination.
Set in a stunning unique location in the heart of the Cotswolds with gravel parking and a garden area overlooking fields and ancient woodland with swathes of fern in the summer months and carpets of Bluebells in the Spring all a short walk from the barn.
Unlimited access to 200 acres of arable farmland, some areas are wild with two impressive woods lined with avenues of trees and plenty of wildlife to explore. All totally private with areas that link to a network of footpaths for those who enjoy a walk to the pub or Moreton in Marsh (approximately 3 miles) Guests should note that during the winter months occasional pheasant shoots occur in the woodland areas.

Ground Floor: Open plan kitchen, dining and sitting areas. First staircase to a mezzanine landing bedroom with 3’ single bed for a child (no stairgate) Double bedroom with 5’ bed and ensuite bathroom with a roll top bath. Second staircase to a smaller bedroom with a 5’ bed and en suite bathroom with roll top slipper bath (no stairgate)
The downstairs area is open plan with underfloor heating, a flagstone floor , Woodburning Stove, Free Wifi, freezer, dishwasher, TV, Video and DVD. Travel Cot and Highchair available.
The nearest pub is Broadwell on the village green but there are a good selection of pubs, restaurants, shops and places to visit including The Daylesford Farm Shop, Diddly Squat (Jeremy Clarkson) and many other well known attractions in the area.

WildWoodBluebell is situated midway between Moreton-in-Marsh and Stow-on-the-Wold.
Google will take you to our neighbours entrance with cottages at entrance and wrought iron gate.
From Stow continue on the Fosseway A429 past Tesco on your right. After approximately 1.5 miles, see crossroads to Donnington LH and Broadwell RH continue straight on the main road for another 400 metres and look out for driveway entrance with white cottages and wrought iron gates (entrance to neighbours) take next RH driveway entrance onto farm track with white fencing. See signs to WildWoodBluebell/Heath Barn. Please take care when exiting/joining this main road as it is very busy.
We recommend arriving in daylight hours and getting to know the site and the surrounding area. Parking is provided by Mundays Meadow, please follow the signs on the farm track for Mundays Meadow and for the huts to Heath Barn and park on the gravel facing the field. A short stroll across the field will take you to the woods, follow the path into the woods and you will easily find your hut nestled amongst the trees. If the conditions are dry you can park outside the woods by the barrels.
We recommend having a car on site if you want to visit the Cotswolds during your stay. The nearest station is Moreton-in-Marsh (5 minutes drive). There are a limited number of taxis in the area so be sure to book in advance. Alternatively take the footpath to our farm approximately (2 miles) for the adventurous outdoor hikers! Or do bring bikes. We connect to lots of lovely bike trails. The main road from the station to us is busy, especially during the summer season. But once you get to our driveway you then follow a farm track for approximately half a mile to your destination.

For Lima and Posey walk across the field opposite the house and into the woods.
WildWoodBluebell is situated between two charming towns Moreton-in-Marsh and Stow-on-the-Wold with a great selection of unusual shops, pubs and restaurants. Also within easy driving distance is The Daylesford Farm Shop with local organic produce and two restaurants and spa and a takeaway pizza and Diddly Squat Jeremy Clarksons Farm shop and restaurant and the Fosseway Garden Centre with a fabulous butcher.
For supermarkets we have Tesco, Aldi, Co-op all within a 10 minute drive or arrange for a delivery from Tesco to arrive on site after your arrival. Alternatively for parties of more than 16 guests you can order fresh local produce meat/veg/dairy/bread from our local delivery friend Chris and he will deliver and unpack in the kitchen for your arrival [email protected]
There are many beautiful walks in the area explore WildWoodBluebell/ Heath Barn with beautiful woodland walks, away from the crowds, totally private for you to wander. There are also many footpaths and cycle routes to be explored in the local area and places to visit as well as outdoor activities.

Great Rollright Stones comprise of three separate megalithic monuments in beautiful Cotswold Countryside.
Cotswold Water Park - (approximately 30 minutes drive). The Cotswold Country Park and Beach and the Cotswold Water Park Nature Reserve with stunning wetland of over 180 lakes. Lake 32 has wild swimming and other activities to include raft building, paddle boarding and plenty more. Also water skiing and kayaking is available in the area for a great day out.

The King's Head Inn, Bledington - a Sawday's pub, in an "achingly pretty" village. We say, "The pretty flagstoned dining room (exposed stone walls, Farrow & Ball paints, pale wood tables) is inviting, there are lovely unpompous touches like jugs of cow parsley in the loo, and you can lunch by the fire in the bar – on devilled kidneys, sausage and mash, local Dexter beef and Guinness pie."
